Linde Heavy Truck Division, part of the Linde Materials Handling Division, is the Group facility for all forklifts from 5000Kg to 46000Kg, together with sideloaders and the entire Linde Container Handler range. These are all manufactured at a facility in Merthyr Tydfil, Great Britain.

The machines incorporate the very latest technology and are all subject to the Linde Development program, which ensures that no product is launched into the market without undergoing a most rigorous testing procedure.

Close contacts are maintained with ports and terminals, shipping lines, heavy industry and steel producers throughout the world ensuring Linde are aware of trends and developments that may have an effect on the materials handling requirements of these users. Support for all Linde products is available from the world-wide network of subsidiary companies and distributors, all of whom have access to the manufacturing plant ensuring that they are able to offer a total after-sales care package for spare parts and technical support.

Also based in Merthyr are product specialists who are available to assist ports directly or via consultants in all aspects of container and general cargo handling, warehousing, cold stores, forest product handling, steel coil and plate companies, etc. As well as advising on specifications they are able to produce layouts, assist with finance, produce reports on existing equipment, and advise on maintenance programs.
