Marches To French Army
Fenwick-Linde,
the French arm of Linde Materials Handling, is to equip the French
army with thirteen H160's, 16 tonnes capacity, forklift trucks.
This is the second time the French Army have ordered 13 H160 forklift
trucks from Linde.
They were so
satisfied with their first purchase of 13 H160's that they decided
on Fenwick-Linde for their additional truck requirements. Fenwick-Linde
have established an excellent working relationship with the French
Army. They have purchased over 165 trucks from the whole of the
Linde range since 1997.
This latest
order for thirteen H160's will be despatched to different barracks
around France: the logistics units in Bordeaux, Metz, Toulon, Besançon,
Versailles, Nancy and Clermont-Ferrand. They will be used for general
material handling applications, which includes lifting weapons and
other military items.
As the market
leader for heavy forklift trucks in France, Fenwick-Linde building
on their excellent relationship with the French Army were chosen
for this most recent purchase for several important reasons including
the products' technical advantages and the short delivery time.
The French Army perceive Fenwick-Linde trucks to be of a high quality,
reliable and easy to work with. They also rate the Fenwick-Linde
after-sales service very highly, the spare parts for the trucks
always arrive in good time, so as not to disrupt the vital work
the French Army does.
